The following projects and short films were developed remotely as part of 24 Hour Plays: Nationals and Abbey's Wingspace Theatrical Design Directing Mentorship.
LOOKING FOR THE MOON, a new play by Anya Richkind. Produced by 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, 2021. Starring Jackie Leon (they/she/he)* and Sophia Drapeau (she/her).
FRACTURED SUNLIGHT; self-produced short film developed in Wingspace mentorship. Written and directed by Abbey Joan Burgess as part of a cabaret of curiosities around intimacy entitled UnEarthed Exposure. Featuring Sam Lefft (she/her) and Elena Rey (they/she).
EXCAVATION OF SKIN; self-produced short film written and directed by Abbey Joan Burgess as part of Wingspace mentorship. Semi-finalist for Indie Short Fest 2021. Centered conflict of private versus public selves.
